Make your own homemade gel plate

GelatIn-based gel plate

Ingridiants 🥣

  • Measuring cups

  • 1/2 cup vegetable glycerin

  • 28 grams unflavored gelatin

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 6" X 8" tray *

  • Optional: 70–95% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol)

    *👩‍🍳Making a different size? Simply adjust the recipe to match your tray size. For an 8" × 10" gel plate, just double the recipe.

👉 1 cup = 8 ounces

👉 Be sure to use a tray that has a flat bottom and no ridges.
