Route 66

from $45.00
I made this original mixed media artwork on canvas when I was inspired by a vintage roadside scene along Route 66 which I found while on a road trip. I created this piece with layers of collage, black-and-white photo transfer, acrylic paint, drawing, and handwritten marks. To me, the weathered scene, the distressed textures and faded imagery reflect the passage of time and the beauty of places left behind.
